Explore out of the way Blue Mountains lookouts and bush walks, wander through a mountain village for lunch, and get up close to iconic Australian animals at a wildlife park.
Join us for the best Blue Mountains day tour, departing Sydney to explore this million acre World Heritage-listed area. We take you away from the obvious tourist traps to show you the Blue Mountains from an insider’s perspective – from secluded lookouts, rainforest bush tracks and pristine valleys. See Australia’s unique landscapes, and learn local stories and legends about aboriginal culture.
We visit some spectacular lookouts and water falls, and our flexible itinerary allows you to take in a variety of views and walks around the area. Short guided bushwalks are of around 10-45 minutes duration (weather permitting) and may be on some uneven surfaces and steps in the National Park.
We see all the main sights, like the fascinating Three Sisters, but we take you to the smaller lookouts where you’ll hopefully be the only ones enjoying the view. Peaceful bushwalks enhance the experience, and let you soak up the Mountains atmosphere.
At lunchtime, your guide will help you to choose your own lunch from the choices available in one of the relaxed mountain villages that we visit.
In the afternoon we head down from the mountains for a hands on Australian native wildlife encounter and the chance to feed Kangaroos and have a photo taken with a Koala at Featherdale Wildlife Park! Return to the city in your luxury vehicle to finish off a wonderful day!
We pride ourselves on flexible, personalised tours, so let us know what you want to do, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you!
There are opportunities for several short guided bushwalks of 10-45 minutes (weather permitting) which require a moderate level of fitness over some uneven surfaces and steps. Bushwalks may not be possible when there is a lot of rain about, but on these occasions different lookouts usually reveal amazing views of the raging waterfalls and misty valleys.
If you are not able to join in some of the walks, your guide will suggest alternatives that are shorter or you may need to wait near the vehicle.
This tour is not suitable for those with limited mobility nor for children under 5 years of age.
Certainly! The Three Sisters is one of the more iconic sites of the Blue Mountains. Your experienced guides know a number of isolated lookouts that have stunning, uninterrupted views of the Three Sisters. As well as this majestic landmark, sit back and let us show you Wentworth Falls, the Jamison Valley, Echo Point, the Grose River Valley and more; there’s so much to see in the Blue Mountains!
Our tours to the Blue Mountains usually run 7 days per week. The size and type of vehicle used may vary on different days of the week and different times of the year.
